How the calculation works
eBay uses a tiered final value fee and a per-order fee. Etsy combines listing, transaction and payment-processing fees. Category eligibility, buyer demand, advertising and tax can change the decision; fees alone do not measure marketplace suitability.
Payout = item price + seller-collected shipping − fees. Profit = payout − item cost − shipping cost. Reverse mode finds the lowest listing price that reaches your selected payout or profit.
Estimates exclude unlisted charges. Reverse prices round up to the smallest currency unit that meets your target.
Compare platforms at the same sale price
Same item price, costs, and buyer-paid shipping. The current platform follows the selected controls; other rows use platform defaults. Required listing prices appear in reverse mode. Poshmark shipping is paid to the platform and excluded from seller revenue. Payment processors and marketplaces provide different services. Optional promotions and buyer fees are excluded.

What does the target amount mean?
Choose payout to calculate the amount after platform fees but before costs. Choose profit to also subtract item and seller-paid shipping costs. Reverse mode finds the lowest listing price in cents (whole yen for JPY) that reaches your target, including fee thresholds.
Are these fees guaranteed?
No. The fee table states the region, assumptions, official source and verification status. Optional charges, account-specific pricing, taxes on fees and platform rounding can change the actual payout.
